The general director of Mosvodokanal OJSC Alexander Ponomarenko and his alleged common-law wife Lyubov Komissarenko were named the owners of real estate in France and Slovakia for tens of millions of euros, as well as companies that generate incomes of billions of rubles.
Several years ago, in the French region of Provence – Alpes – Côte d’Azur, two identical palaces were built – with colonnades, loggias and terraces. On one of the sites, a structure similar to the Eiffel Tower appeared. According to journalists, the houses, estimated at about 50 million euros each, belong to Ponomarenko.
In the commune of Theoule-sur-Mer on the Mediterranean coast, there is a chateau with a swimming pool on an area of 1.5 thousand square meters. m. According to the Life investigation, this property, which may cost about 18 million euros, is owned by SCI Anastasia, owned by Lyubov Komissarenko, her son Andrey, as well as minor children from Ponomarenko. The company also owns an elite residential complex in Nice.
In 2009, according to Life, Ponomarenko and his son from their first marriage, Maxim, registered in France a non-profit partnership for real estate management Alexander et Fils (“Alexander and Son”). In 2016, Ponomarenko transferred his share to Komissarenko.
In Bratislava, Komissarenko’s companies have real estate worth 35 million euros on their balance sheets, which brings in income of more than 1 million euros per year.
In Moscow, the couple is registered in a 239-meter apartment in a high-rise on Michurinsky Prospekt. Such an apartment can cost about 50 million rubles. Lyubov and her son also live in a 257-meter apartment in an elite residential complex in the center of Moscow. Similar apartments are sold for 328 million rubles.
In the village of Gorki Leninskiye near Moscow, the Fakel dacha partnership is located, among the founders of which are Ponomarenko and his ex-wife Nina Klestova. Most of the other founders are associated with the head of Mosvodokanal through business.
As the authors of the investigation assure, Ponomarenko controls dozens of businesses that bring in hundreds of millions of rubles a year. Komissarenko owns, in particular, a company that controls 8 construction firms, which in 2019 brought a hike of 400 million rubles.
Mosvodokanal is the largest urban water supply company in Russia, owned by the Moscow City Property Department. Komissarenko’s companies, according to the investigation, are winning large tenders of Mosvodokanal and have earned tens of billions of rubles on state orders.
